Chicago’s top interior designer and event planner sets up permanent shop in Lakeview!
Ramsey Jay Prince, Chicago ’s premier event, interior and floral designer known for his over the top designs, will open his first boutique and studio in Lakeview.
J Prince Studio will become the outpost for Prince’s design and event firm where clients can meet with Prince and his team, plan their dream event or space and have their events come to life while viewing inspiring vignettes. In addition, the 675 square foot boutique will offer Prince’s handmade florals, hair hide and leather messenger bags, exotic textiles, floor coverings, lighting, furniture designs, and a round up of custom furniture and decorative accessories.
Also featuring couture pieces from Chicago ’s indie designers like Boris Powell Handbags and Purses, knits from LV Jordan and jewelry from Prince’s new collection. The boutique is a beautiful mélange of Prince’s trademark, luxurious style with carefully selected one of a kind vintage and salvaged pieces with seasonal couture items also for sale.
This is the urban Fashionista’s one stop shop for their home, fashions, and gifts.
Ramsey Prince, a Baltimore native, moved to Chicago six years ago to bring his innovative designs and unique style to Chicagoans. Ramsey has been designing and planning events for more 20 years and has a natural ability to create, design and produce experiential events that leave a lasting impression. With a diverse background that spans from intimate garden parties to large scale weddings, Ramsey is able to translate his client’s ideas and vision into reality.
