Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame Inductions November 13th





The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame is both a historic event and an exhibit. Through the Hall of Fame, residents of Chicago and the world are made aware of the contributions of Chicago's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities and the communities' efforts to eradicate homophobic bias and discrimination.


Fourteen Individuals and One Organization was chosen  for 2008 Hall of Fame,
including Jane Addams, will be  honored at 18th Annual Ceremony.

The chosen nominees will be inducted at the  annual ceremony, which will be held

5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2008,
in Sidney R. Yates Gallery at the Chicago Cultural Center,
77 E. Randolph St.

The reception  begins at 5:30 p.m., and the program is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.
