PAWS Chicago Fur Ball November 14th at the DRAKE Hotel

Friday, November 14th, 2008, 6:00pm @ The Drake Hotel

The Seventh Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball is Chicago’s pet-friendly
black-tie gala. Lucky dogs in attendance will be treated to a doggie
buffet, animal communicator and dog spa, complete with an animal
masseuse. Their human companions will delight in the silent and live
auctions with one-of-a-kind items, raffle, dancing and dinner buffet.

Presented by Bentley Gold Coast, Harry Winston and The Drake Hotel, the
Seventh Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball will raise funds to support the
organization’s ongoing efforts to alleviate our city's tragic pet overpopulation problem.

Tickets start at $400 per person, $100 per pooch.

PAWS Chicago is the city’s largest No Kill humane organization, focused on implementing solutions to end the killing of homeless pets. Since PAWS Chicago’s founding in 1997, the number of homeless dogs and cats killed annually has dropped more than 50 percent: from more than 42,000 homeless pets killed in 1997 to under 20,000 killed in 2006. PAWS Chicago is working to build a No Kill Chicago—a city where pets are no longer destroyed just because they are homeless.
