Sundays after a day at the Chicago gay Hollywood beach, many people head to Big Chicks for the free Sunday cookout buffet. Owner Michelle Fire, the big chick, referred to as a "cool den mom", puts out a very nice spread on Sundays at 4pm. Burgers, brats, dogs and sides. Plus $2.50 vodka lemonades! It's always packed and lots of fun. Get there early.
Right next door is her restaurant TWEETS! Open from 9am-3pm daily (except Tuesdays), they have an amazing breakfast and brunch menu. 6 different Eggs Benedicts, 6 different breakfast burritos, assorted sandwiches, omelette's, quiche, lox.....something for everyone and the quality and presentation is top notch.
