Well, it's over. 

The BRAVO television show has ended and  America has decided they could not make Chicago's Ronnie Kroell a super model. But he came awfully close as runner-up!

Ronnie, the only openly gay partcipant, had a crush on his roommate, the straight married prison gaurd hottie Ben DiChiara. The "bromance" was a large plot line of the Bravo reality show. Bravo even printed "Bronnie" t-shirts.

Ronnie appeared recently in New York's Next magazine and  sais he's over Ben.

“I’m so over Ben now and he knows it,” Ronnie told Next. “Honestly, my feelings for him have totally dissipated.”

With typical good-natured grace, Kroell told Next he’s happy that Holly Kiser took home the $100,000 prize and he hopes that all the gay people watching the show (hello, this is Bravo after all) didn’t vote to keep him on just because of his orientation. -  “I hope that people voted for me because of my improvement and my modeling and my arc and not because I was gay and they wanted a gay person to continue,” he says.

Now that the show is over Kroell says he’s hoping to fall in love with a real gay man (not another straight guy) sometime in the future, though he’s happy to be single at the moment.

“Back home I was a serial monogamist. I’d be in one relationship and on to the next because I didn’t want to be out of a relationship,” he explains. “This time away has shown me I have so much to focus on that I’m not ready to settle down yet.”

But when he does, his partner better be ready for some fun. “Whoever is going to be with me is going to have a handful. I like my freedom and individuality,” he says.

Supermodel winner or not - We have not seen the last of Ronnie Kroell!
